I have been successfully involved in Network Marketing (MLM) for 55 years (as of 2022).
Throughout my career, my MLM income allowed me to purchase conventional businesses such as auto body shops, restaurants, health gyms, truck stop, RV Park, convenience store, market and research company, and real estate. During the 2000s, I sold all of these conventional businesses because I wanted to focus solely on MLM.
In the mid-1990s, I financed a study conducted by one of my companies, Research & Marketing Consultants. The research from this company lasted 3½ years, covering 40-50 years of network marketing history. At the time, it was the only extensive study on network marketing. The research examined 342 opportunities and eventually more than 1,000 opportunities. The study looked at product and marketing trends, attrition/retention factors, and why some companies grow but others don’t.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, I hired a staff to support my distributors and customers. Some of those staff members are still with me today and serve on the board of directors. My staff consists of both young and older individuals. I benefit from new ideas as well as wisdom from the older teammates.
I worked a company for the past 23 years. In that company, my organization grew to several hundred thousand distributors and customers generating $20-25 million in monthly volume with 80% of the company’s top leaders in my downline. Through my staff and many great leaders in the field, I was able to achieve a fantastic retention level.
That company’s internal legal department was too aggressive. The legal department suspended several dozen distributors because of activity in their personal lives. In addition, the company also did away with the 50 LP level of purchases, requiring a networker to now purchase 100 LP per month (approximately $130-200) to qualify for income. I decided I no longer could recruit individuals into that company.
Now everyone that follows me into this company knows what to look forward to. We plan to repeat and accomplish even more than we did over the last 23 years. I met with Greg Gunderson, the founder of GreatLife Worldwide. Greg met my first requirement of being humanitarian. He cares about his distributors and will look out for them. Greg also has experience as a distributor and owner.
I'm in excellent shape and plan to live beyond 100 years. I live a healthy lifestyle and do cardio five times a week, weight lifts, and does karate and yoga. At 75 years old, I play basketball with individuals in their mid-20s. When I was 70, I took a biological test to see what my actual age was. I tested at 35 years old! I have studied nutrition since I've been 19 year old and I've taken almost every nutritional product in existence.
My mission and purpose in life is to make a difference in health, financially, and spiritually in as many people as possible throughout the world.
